• About ME

    Joseph Patrick Roop is a financial advisor with nearly three decades of experience. In 2009, he founded and still runs Belmont Capital Advisors, Inc., a North Carolina-based provider of services such as retirement and estate planning and tax minimization advice to high-net-worth clients. Before founding Belmont Capital Advisors, Joseph Patrick Roop spent over a decade working as a financial analyst and advisor, first at MassMutual and eventually at Wells Fargo Advisors.

     

    Besides running his company, Joe Pat Roop offers retirement planning advice on his weekly radio show, Retire(meant) for Living, which was voted one of the 15 best shows to listen to in 2022 on FeedSpot. The show is broadcast on WBT in Charlotte. He has also appeared in segments on WCNC-TV.

     

    JoePat Roop received a degree in finance from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting and visiting Beaufort, South Carolina, with his family.
